Leh Ladakh Tour Package

View of Leh Valley
Region of Ladakh is part of Northern Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir and is a place like no other. The region is one of India’s least dense and sparsely populated. It’s terrain is unique not only to India, but in many ways unique to many countries in the World. It’s main district Leh is India’s second biggest and along with Kargil make up two important connecting districts to this part of the World.
People and Culture of Ladakh
People of Ladakh are mostly from Indo Aryan & Tibetan descent with history, culture & lifestyle closely resembling those cultures. Ladakhi people have for most part been disconnected from the Modern World.
Only in the last 2 decades with the World taking prominent notice and tourism making clear ground, Ladakh and Ladakhi people have begun looking towards a highly promising future. People here are special in many ways for their unique conservation methods, distinct Ethinicity, resoluteness & preserving their faith in Tibetan Buddhism. Though the region falls in a dangerous area between sensitive borders of Pakistan and China, you don’t feel the tension nor witness any cross border activities.

People travelling to Ladakh have Pangong Tso Lake high in the Itinerary, especially after it has been popularized by the film 3 Idiots. Similarly Chang La pass with almost similar height helps tourist cross over to Pangong Tso Lake. Sham Valley too is added in the Itinerary for its many Monasteries, Rivers & interesting Natural phenomenons.
Pangong Tso Lake
Pangong Tso Lake is a fantastic one day return trip from Leh. Overnight camping is available for those who want to take it slow.
