Coorg or Kodagu is the richest district in India; the reason being the many coffee estates that produces over 60 percent of Coffee in India. Situated in Karnataka and in the belt of Western Ghats, it has rich flora and fauna. Its home to many birds species and a favorite for visitors to have a relaxing time. It is also a trekker’s paradise.

Two most important tour attractions apart from the incredible coffee estates is the Talakaveri: the place where the River Kaveri originates & Buddhist temple.

Coorg can be combined with other nearby places that include Chikmagalur(coffee zone), Halibeedu, Belur, etc. You can also combine Coorg with Wayanad of Kerala that is another great treasure in the western Ghats.

Tibetan Monstarey t Bylekuppe is the second largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet, complete with a Tibetan monastery with 7,000 monks, a Tibetan village and a flea market. The Buddha Temple situated at the Tibetian Camp is 4kms from Kushalnagar and one of the biggest in the world.
