Goa

Goa’s history dates back to 30,000 years. With rock carved paintings, a mention in the Mahabharat & a trade route for centuries, Goa has been a busy province since it’s very beginning. Many rulers over time have left their mark in this land. The most prominent of them were the Portugese. Both Hindu and Christian kingdoms have built enormous Churches and Temples giving the land distinctive culture that is Goanese. In Art, Cuisine, Festivals and Religious affairs, Goa showcases to the World a tolerant and truly happy co-existence.

Goa has been a beach paradise since the 60s. With influx of tourists from all over the World, it’s got a high concentration of Resorts, Homestays, Hotels & Shacks catering to tourists. Itinerary

The following Itinerary is completely flexible and can include offbeat routes.
Day 1:
Arrive in Goa by afternoon.

Spend time along a 20km stretch in the following locales:

Day2:

h) Panjim Heritage Walk, Panaji: A walk down memory lane! Starts at Tobacco Square, The Casa De Moeda (Mint House), The Tobacco house, meanders through the ward of Sao Tome, through Corte de Oeteiro to the Catholic dominated precinct of Fontainhas, Chapel Of Saint Sebastian, WelcomheritagePanjimPousada (a restored 100 year old Hindu home), Welcomheritage The Panjim Inn (an over 100 year old Catholic home, also a heritage hostelry) and finally through the Hindu dominated ward of Mala culminating at Fonte Phoenix.
